Multifaceted Robotic Gripping Solutions
We provide intelligent soft gripping solutions to automate production and packaging lines. With the capabilities to customize the finger actuator design with 3D-printing technology, we deliver optimized, safe and compliant gripping solution to the end-user.
Surface Polishing of Additively Manufactured Aluminum-Based Components
Aluminum Additive Manufacturing allows for rapid printing, reduced lead times, and complex designs and features not possible with traditional manufacturing methods. As-printed AM components inherently have rough surface textures that cause component failure and inhibit implementation. Our technology is working to resolve these defects on Aluminum components.
A new method of electrospinning which collects nanofiber between a set of automated tracks. The tracks can be set to variable angles in order to draw the fibers to a predetermined ratio; altering fiber physical structure, mechanical strength and electrical properties.
Antimicrobial Cotton Reactive Dye
To reduce the limitations (e.g., cost, environmental concerns, bacterial efficacy) of currently used cotton antimicrobial techniques, researchers at TTU have developed a technique attaching a new type of dye to cotton material/fiber/yarn for protection against infections.
