  Impact of Photonics

This symposium is focused on the impact and broad applications of photonics technologies in our society and to US competitiveness. This symposium also examines the role of policy and practice in driving photonics innovation and investment, thereby connecting researchers, scientists, and engineers to the mechanisms, resources, and partners that fuel their discoveries. Applications areas to be explored include advanced manufacturing; defense, homeland, and cyber security; transportation, agtech and foodtech, aerospace and space exploration, energy independence, communications, biotech, and physical AI.
