Recombinant hemopexin for treatment of acute and chronic lung injury
Release of heme, from exposure to Chlorine or in Sickle Cell Disease, causes severe pulmonary and systemic injury. Hemopexin is a native human protein which clears free heme from circulation. We have applied a mouse model of chlorine exposure demonstrating functionality of a recombinant Hemopexin for commercialization.

We report an apparatus of magnetic flow cytometry. It analyzes individual cells’ properties and can be used in biomedical research and clinical diagnostics for immune profiling, cancer detection, and microbial identification.
