Pierre-Olivier Gourmelon is Chief Operating Officer of Jacobi Motors, where
he leads product strategy, engineering execution, and commercialization of the
company’s Variable Flux Memory Motor technology. His work focuses on electric
machines that combine novel permanent magnets with adaptive magnetic control to
improve efficiency, expand operating capability, and reduce dependence on
critical rare-earth materials. Over a career spanning more than 17 years,
Pierre has led multidisciplinary development programs involving advanced
materials, electromechanical systems, controls, prototyping, testing, and
customer integration across electric mobility, industrial equipment, energy,
and robotics.
