Kris Strickland is a process engineer with L3 Process Development, where he focuses on process development, design, and techno-economic evaluation. He is also a PhD candidate in Mining and Minerals Engineering at Virginia Tech, where his research integrates process modeling with economic analysis to advance sustainable mineral extraction technologies. Before returning to his alma mater, Kris spent seven years in industry developing processing chemicals and optimizing flotation separation systems for mineral recovery.
