Dr. Lu Wang is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in sustainable materials science. He leads the Tunable Eco-materials & Advanced Manufacturing (TEAM) Lab at the Center for Renewable Carbon. His research heavily aims to enhance fiber-reinforced-polymer composites using green chemistry and sustainable manufacturing, with end applications in packaging, automotive, and construction industries. Dr. Wang earned his Ph.D. in Bioproducts Engineering from the University of Maine and previously worked at its Advanced Structures and Composites Center.
