Maude Desroches, PhD, is an accomplished industry scientist and leader, currently working as a research scientist in Product Development for Personal Care at Dow. With a PhD in Chemistry from Université Laval and research experience at MIT, Dr Desroches specialises in developing innovative personal care products and leads high-impact projects delivering unique performance that meets evolving market needs. As Global Platform Leader for film-forming active ingredients, Dr Desroches oversees technology advancement, claim testing, method development, and go-to-market strategies. During her tenure at Dow, Dr Desroches launched six products, including award winners (BIG Innovation and R&D 100 finalist). She also contributed to business preservation and customer partnerships, and is active in mentoring, outreach and recruiting activities.
