
Dr. Qingguo (Jack) Huang is a professor at the University of Georgia, Griffin Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2003. His research interests involve the application of catalysis in water and wastewater treatment, resource reuse, soil remediation and agro-ecological management. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and has five patents awarded. In recent years, Dr. Huang has led multiple research projects funded by SERDP and U.S. EPA focusing on the development of technologies to remediate PFAS in water and soil. Dr. Huang currently serves as the Specialty Chief Editor for Frontiers in Environmental Engineering and on the Editorial Board for Soil and Environmental Health.
