Dr. Yalcin Yamaner is a Research Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University and the Co-Founder and CEO of Clearsens Inc., a startup developing chip-scale wearable ultrasound technologies. His work spans CMUT design, ultrasound imaging, and sensing systems for biomedical, industrial, and aerospace applications. Dr. Yamaner has led multiple U.S. Navy and NASA SBIR/STTR awards and focuses on translating advanced ultrasonic technologies into scalable, real-world solutions for health monitoring and safety-critical environments.
