Jeffrey Moseley is an Associate Researcher at the California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3) at the University of California, Berkeley. He returned to academic research after a decade in industrial biotechnology, where he held scientist and principal scientist roles at Aurora Biofuels, Solazyme Inc., and Phycoil Biotechnology International. His research interests center on lipid biology, nutrient assimilation pathways and photosynthesis, with a particular focus on developing algae as platforms for biotechnology and bioproduction.
