Mr. Zeke Topolosky manages the Department of the Army’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs supporting the Army Innovation Programs Director in the office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)).  In this role he oversees the integration of these Army small business investment portfolios with other Army Innovation Programs and Science and Technology Acquisition programs to deliver novel solutions from U.S.-based small businesses to our Soldiers.  Mr. Topolosky has 23 years of experience working on science and technology development and strategic partnerships for Army programs. Mr. Topolosky began his career as a Mechanical Engineer at the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM)-C5ISR Center Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate and then at the DEVCOM-Army Research Laboratory developing sensor technologies, and later managing Strategic Partnerships and Technology Transfer programs for the laboratory. In 2018, he supported ASA(ALT) with the establishment of the Army’s xTech Prize Competition Program to enhance the Army’s engagement with non-traditional innovators that ultimately led to his appointment as the Army’s SBIR|STTR Program Manager in March 2024.  Mr. Topolosky earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2002.
