Mr. Wayne Artuso is a solutions-focused acquisition professional eager to contribute dynamic leadership skills as well as technical analysis proficiencies towards achieving open architecture implementation.  Mr. Artuso has a strong background in large program modernization and technical development acquisition/procurement with 20 years of experience across multiple USAF platforms and programs such as the B-2 Stealth Bomber, F-15 Eagle, and MQ-9 Reaper modernization systems.  Currently, Mr. Artuso serves as the Chief, Open Architecture Management Office (OAMO) at WPAFB, OH.  The OAMO is responsible for Open Architecture standards and GRA management across the DAF and in concert with the Tri-Service at the direction of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Commander Lt Gen Donna Shipton (AFLCMC).  The OAMO has acquisition authority for the Open Mission Systems/Universal Command and Control Interface (OMS/UCI) program, Sensors Open System Architecture (SOSA) USAF program management, and the Gov’t Avionics Reference Architecture program.  Mr. Artuso is actively involved in the open architecture enterprise and is leading key open architecture activities in the USAF’s Great Power Competition announced by Secretary Kendall at AFA in February 2024.
