Lieutenant Colonel Rob Hughes is the Material Leader for the Position, Navigation, and Timing Program Office at Robins AFB, Georgia.  As the ML for the PNT PO he leads an amazing team of professionals who ensure our DoD and 57 Allied partners are able to operate where they want, whenever they want.  The team provides the ability to keep legacy receivers operational while simultaneously developing the next generation of M-code capable receivers.  Additionally, they are working with the Joint services to create a resilient PNT capability for the warfighter.

Lt Col Hughes graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2000.  He has his level-III certification in Program Management and has managed projects in Advanced EHF, F-16, NATO UAI, Navy P-8, and DoD AWDF.  Lt Col Hughes deployed with DCMA in support of Operation NEW DAWN and supported PACAF during Korea Contingency Planning.  He was the Chief of Legislative Affairs and part of the POLAD Team at HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, prior to joining the PNT PO.
