Summary:

Vital View Technologies (VVT), is a medical IoT company, on a mission to change the short and long-term treatment of some of the most prevalent chronic illnesses in the United States. Our beachhead product is a non-invasive, non-contact medical sensor providing early detection of changes in total body fluid for the management of Congestive Heart Failure, Chronic Kidney disease and other pathologies where fluid over or under load are prevalent.. The platform utilizes a proprietary Radio Frequency (RF) Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) which enables a new contactless modality allowing a sensor to be installed seamlessly in the home-care setting. The VVT monitoring platform is a non-contact, non-invasive at-home medical monitor that tracks fluid change over time and provides care teams with actionable insights and enables early interventions designed to improve patient outcomes and reduce the risk of hospital readmission. The largest chronic disease healthcare burden in the United States is heart disease, with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) specifically creating the largest burden on the US healthcare system. Currently, CHF costs $44B annually, with the majority of the costs stemming from hospital readmissions due to imprecise or inconsistent treatments and a lack of early detection tools. It is estimated that the CHF healthcare burden will reach $90B by 2030. Our monitor leverages a patented breakthrough in Radio Frequency Polarization Mode Dispersion, or RF PMD. RF PMD refers to the polarization changes of RF signals after passing through space, reflecting off objects and recombining at the receiver. The resulting features provide a large data rich output, which increases with the number of transmitters and receivers. These are used to sense material changes and changes in target characteristics, leading to sensing opportunities across multiple industries. VVT has developed a custom Software Defined Radio, antenna array and cloud based user interface designed to capture heart and respiratory rate as well as total change in human body fluid as its first product. The product development cycle currently underway will result in a solution ready for FDA certification in 1Q25.
