This embedded sensor system monitors the electrical resistivity of concrete materials to estimate the resilience of concrete structures against ingress of aggressive ions such as chlorides. Therefore, the sensor system can be embedded in critical offshore, onshore, and nearshore concrete infrastructure to monitor and predict their durability and service life.
