Saeed is licensed professional engineer in Ontario. He received his B.Sc (Chemistry) and BESc (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Western Ontario. Saeed has also achieved his Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship & Technology from University of Waterloo. Saeed serves on the Advisory Board of several private companies and startups. He also serves on TechConnect Innovation Committee since 2008. He is an active member of the “Association of University Technology Managers” (AUTM), and “ACCT Canada” which is the national advocate for the value created by academic technology transfer and commercialization.
Saeed joined University of Waterloo Commercialization Office in 2007 after many years of progressive engineering experience in the R&D. He currently assumes the role of a “Technology Transfer Manager” supporting University of Waterloo Commercialization Office (WatCO). Saeed focuses on reviewing, identifying, evaluating, and commercializing technology opportunities in the engineering, advanced materials and physical sciences disciplines.
