Jason McMullan is a Hydrogen Technology Integrator for the ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions Technology Portfolio in Clinton, NJ. Dr. McMullan has worked in a variety of Research, Development, and Deployment roles, focused on Process and Catalyst Development. Dr. McMullan’s strategy for process and catalyst integration is underpinned by scale-up / scale-down fundamentals and process intensification. He has successfully integrated multiple 3rd party technologies to ExxonMobil developments, done via understanding the external landscape of both industry and academia by screening many early stage concepts. Bringing in ideas from adjacent technology areas has led to multiple successful technology commercializations with the latest one currently under construction.
Dr. McMullan is an author or co-author on 80 ExxonMobil memos and 13 ExxonMobil patents. He received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, with a minor in Biotechnology. Outside of his technical duties, Jason is a leader for ExxonMobil in University Recruiting and Mentoring.
