Laila Abudour is a senior R&D engineer at General Mills. I work with a modeling and data science team that develops mechanistic modeling approaches and modern data-driven methodologies to solve complex and challenging food processing problems. Previously, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Oklahoma State University for several years where I published most of my work in the Fluid Phase Equilibria Journal. Comprehensive experience in thermodynamic modeling, thermophysical properties prediction, process simulation, and molecular modeling. I received my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University with a focus on thermodynamics.
