I am CTO at SNOChip Inc. I received my Ph.D. degree with Dean's Award in applied physics from National Taiwan University in 2014. In 2012, I was a Visiting Student in the Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton, U.K. I had worked as a research associate in Prof. Federico Capasso's group at Harvard University from 2015 to 2020 and, from 2020-2022, was a senior staff engineer at ams-OSRAM at Mercerville site in New Jersey in USA.
From 2008 to 2009, I served as the President of SPIE National Taiwan University Student Chapter. I had served as the chair of OSA technical group of photonic metamaterials for three years. During my service, I chaired an incubator meeting and a topical meeting on Flat and metasurface optics, gave a metasurface tutorial at CLEO and FIO/LS and organized 8 on-line webinars.
I have published one book chapter and more than 55 journal articles. I have reviewed papers for Nature, Science, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Materials Today, PNAS, Light: Science and Applications, Science Advances and OSA journals.
