Joshua Martin is CEO and co-founder of Fortify, an additive manufacturing company based out of Boston. He received his B.S. in Mechanical engineering from the University of Delaware, and his PhD in Materials Engineering from Northeastern University under NSF Fellowship. Fortify was spun out of his research focused on the hierarchical design of bio-inspired composites, where DLP composite printing was used to better understand the structure-property relationships of advanced materials. Josh is fortunate to have been named to Forbes 30-under-30, and is passionate about making a positive impact on how the world is made through digital manufacturing.
