Summary:
Point-of-care diagnostics and wearable sensors have a tremendous potential for revolutionizing personal health. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated a number of these trends. We will discuss a number of novel sensors that merge technologies in smartphones, AI, wearable hardware, and wireless communication. These next-generation sensors and devices are targeted for use in the pandemic as well as a new post-pandemic era of digital health.
