Karren More is the Director of the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). She received her Ph.D. from North Carolina State University in 1992 and has been a research staff member at ORNL since 1988, first in the Materials Science & Technology Division and more recently served as the Group Leader for Electron & Atom Probe Microscopy at the CNMS (2013-2019). Her research interests are focused on using advanced electron microscopy to understand the structure and chemistry of nanomaterials, especially related to their performance, stability, and durability.
