Summary:

Expeditionary Bases suffer from non-integrated systems with highly inefficient tents in extreme climates with extended supply chains. Modula S has no problem when tents are used for initial deployments but the history is that they keep being used for many years resulting in poor mission performance, high costs and continuous supply chain risk. Relocatable Buildings should be deployed for high-value buildings as soon as possible and RLBs should be deployed living units when an expeditionary base is in existence for more than two years. The advantages of NetZero RLBs will enable the Expeditionary Base to function efficiently and at a lower cost. NetZero RLBs achieve resilience, sustainability, lower lifecycle cost, and a far smaller supply chain for increased mission assurance. Additionally, the troops will have increased physical health, readiness, and improved cognitive performance. Within the past six months the Army, Navy & Air Force have all release Arctic Strategies, requiring operational capabilities down to -60°F, tents and Force Provider/BEAR shelters are only designed to -25°F, and then fail. Modula S, an SBIR Phase 1, 2 & 3 company, can easily provide shelters to perform at -60°F and meet this capability gap.
