Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help transportation agencies unlock key insights to improve traffic safety. If selected, our speaker will review the use of traffic data, from sources such as city infrastructure and connected vehicles, to produce insights for crash prevention and faster incident identification. Waycare is a cloud-based SaaS platform that uses AI and propriety algorithms to produce valuable insights for the traffic management industry. Our solution integrates data from a variety of sources such as navigation apps, city infrastructure, connected vehicles, weather forecasts, traffic detectors, and more. Transportation agencies use Waycare to access predictive insights, identify incidents faster, prevent potential crashes, and improve cross-agency collaboration. Waycare is actively utilized by agencies such as the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), the City of Tampa, etc. These agencies are making their roads safer by increasing inter-agency communication and receiving traffic insights quicker.
