Arnela Dizdarevic is a senior at Texas Woman’s University (TWU). She is a Biology Pre-dental major and Chemistry minor student. Arnela is the Vice President of Golden Key International Honour Society and co-creator and Treasurer of the Dental Club at TWU. She is one of the Student Leaders for the EPA grant entitled ‘Developing Sustainable Gardens for Habitat, Water Conservation, and Education.’ As an undergraduate research student, she works on a project studying estrogens in plants in Dr. Camelia Maier’s laboratory. In her spare time, Arnela enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her dog. During her final year at TWU she will continue working in the TWU pollinator garden and help educate others on the importance of building sustainable gardens for pollinators.
