Maggie Scully

Maggie is a scientist on the Alliance Management team aimed at providing clear communication between NCL and its collaborators. Prior to this position, Dr. Scully spent over 9 years at the laboratory bench engineering and validating nanoparticles for drug delivery and imaging applications, predominantly for cancer. Maggie was a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins Institute for NanoBioTechnology and later Johns Hopkins School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology. In addition, she spent time as a program manager at a Maryland start-up company dedicated to the clinical translation of biopharmaceuticals for cancer, diabetes and rare disease indications. As a doctoral student, Maggie was in the NIH Intramural Research Program at the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2012 and her B.S. in Bioengineering from Lehigh University in 2007.
