Summary:

Cellulose nanomaterials are based on renewable materials which, in combination with their application properties, makes them very attractive materials. As with any material it is essential to understand the potential hazards and exposures and practices needed to allow safe use. This presentation focuses primarily on featuring what hazard information is known, what new information is needed, and safe use and handling practices that can be used today. There will be some discussion on the types of exposures that could result from different production and application methods and ways to mitigate potential hazards.
