First Call Abstracts Due: December 08, 2017
All submission will be reviewed by our prestigious international review committee with a preference towards applications-focused work with clear industry relevance. Symposia are specifically designed to have both industry and academic speakers.
Your submission should include a 500 word text-only abstract, and a 2-page maximum PDF attached file. The abstract PDF file should include the paper title, author’s names, affiliations, and a contact e-mail. It should include figures and references to relevant literature, including publications and patents by the author’s group. Please underline the presenting author and use no smaller than 12-point type. There is a 4MB size limit on files. Please do not password protect or encrypt your PDF file.

All accepted abstracts submitted by February 28, will submit your 4-page technical paper by March 11 for publication within the TechConnect Briefs; published as both an on-line open-access journal and in annual print compilations. The TechConnect Briefs are referenced globally both on-line and in print, and indexed in the major databases including the Chemical Abstract System (American Chemical Society ), Science Citation Index (SCI) and ISI Web of Science (Thomson Reuters), Compendex and Scopus (Elsevier). You may request your work also be considered for submission to one of the following journals. During the online abstract submission, select the journal you wish to be considered for. Note: this does not guarantee acceptance or inclusion to the selected Journal.
Authors who have requested special Journal consideration will be contacted directly by the journal editors after the event. Accepted authors will be given specific instructions for submitting to the Journal which are likely to include revision and expansion of the paper. We do not make the Journal acceptance decisions.
