Dr. Bianco is the design solution manager for energy storage at E.ON Climate & Renewables North America. He held engineering, business development and strategy positions in energy markets in the US, Germany, Sweden and Italy. He started his career in the nuclear technology and successively turned his attention towards distributed energy resource, renewables energy and energy storage. He has been working on origination and project development activities of grid scale projects in the US and lead the origination and development of Texas Waves, two 10 MW grid scale energy projects co-located to E.ON Wind Farm Pyron and Inadale in West Texas. Dr. Bianco holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome, a M.S. in nuclear engineering from the University of Pisa, and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
