Summary:Carbon Nanotubes have generated considerable interest as a potential candidate for Hydrogen Storage, owing to their extremely high specific surface area,which is most promising route for increasing the interaction energies between physisorbent materials and hydrogen molecule in order to overcome the gravimetric and volumetric requirements for their applications in on- board Hydrogen storage. In this article, hydrogen adsorption properties of as synthesised Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes (MWNTs) and carboxylic acid group modified MWNTs is represented with variation of temperature and pressure. The results exibit here show that Hydrogen uptake by acid modified MWNTs is substantially enhanced compared with uptake by as synthesised tubes.
