Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) is a wonderful tool for understanding chemical interactions between two surfaces or molecules. Here one can measure affinity between two functional groups or between two biomolecules like an antibody and an antigen. In this study we investigate hydrophobic interactions of polymers against a silica sphere or any other hydrophobic surface.
