Catalytic Reforming of Methane with Acid Gas (H2S) to Produce Carbon Disulfide and Hydrogen Using a TiO2 Nanomaterial Like Catalyst

A maximum production of H2 (70%) and CS2 (30%) was obtained using a nanomaterial with tubular structure like metal catalysts supported on TiO2. This was possible by performing the catalytic reforming of methane with H2S, instead of methane and water vapor, which was performed to produce hydrogen as a valuable subproduct and CS2.
