The performance of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) based on tatinium dioxide is a function of the thickness of the film and the grain size. Spectroscopic ellipsometry and Raman spectroscopy are used to characterize DSSCs prepared with the tatinium dioxide paste. Results show the thickness, optical constants, porosity, grain size and crystallinity of titianium dioxide films.
