U.S. Agency for International Developmentā€™s Global Development Lab

Anne Healy leads Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) at the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Global Development Lab. DIV is USAID’s venture capital-inspired, tiered, evidence-based innovation fund that invests comparatively small amounts in relatively unproven concepts and continues to support and scale only those that prove they work. Anne has worked across the private, public, and social sectors on evidence and innovation in government and international development, helping to launch the Innovations for Poverty Action presence in Kenya; advising companies, government, and philanthropies as a consultant at McKinsey & Co.; serving on the board of IDinsight; and, most recently, serving as an Obama Administration appointee and advisor to the Deputy Secretary at the U.S. State Department. She has a JD and a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard and a BA from Princeton.
