Joe Noto was born and raised in Chicago and has since went on to pursue higher education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Here he has attained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. He is here at the P3 conference, for the third consecutive year, with Embry-Riddle’s Diesel Emission Reduction Project. This project was awarded a Phase II award in 2015. Outside of this research, he also leads a group called Project Haiti that annually designs a solar-powered water purification system to bring and install in Haiti at church or orphanage in need. These systems provide thousands of gallons of clean water a day and help improve the lives of entire communities.
