Michael is a Proposal Manager for BAE Systems Electronic Systems based in Nashua, NH, and he also supports the BAE Systems Innovation Center as an advisor on SBIR best practices. For the last year, he has led and supported proposal teams in the thermal imaging and Technology Solutions business areas.
Prior to joining BAE Systems in 2015, Michael had over 10 years’ experience as a small business proposal manager, writer, and SBIR proposal trainer at iRobot Corporation, Scientific Systems, and as a private consultant to several small businesses. He has worked on over 140 winning SBIR proposals for DoD, NASA, DHS, NIH, and other agencies. In addition to SBIR, he has worked on successful small business proposal teams for DARPA BAA and Air Force Rapid Innovation Fund awards, Phase II.5 contracts, and transition programs, including the ImageNav-Shipboard Landing system for the Fire Scout rotary-wing UAV. He began his career with BBN Software Products, and spent several years in the semiconductor equipment industry before transitioning to the Defense sector in 2004. Michael earned his BS degree in Writing and Engineering from MIT. He currently resides in Hudson, NH, with his wife Jennifer and four children.
