The CondAlign technology uses electric fields to structure and align particles in polymer matrices. The particle structures are then locked into their aligned position as the matrix is cured, enabling the production of advanced composites with a wide variety of end-product features.

Value Proposition: CondAlign’s unique and patented technology enables combinations of common materials to become advanced composites. A number of properties can be incorporated, such as sticky / flexible / hard / soft / transparent / conductive, all of which can tuned by the selecting the right particles, matrix, and process parameters.
We satisfy not only the industry’s continuous search for added functionality and better performance in new, innovative products, but also the needs represented by cost effective manufacturing. The technology is highly scalable, demonstrated in roll to roll manufacturing, and can be introduced to existing large scale production lines. The technology can improve manufacturing and logistics, leading to cost reduction compared to conventional solutions.
CondAlign has identified a number of application areas, but believe our technology can create added value in a number of areas not yet identified. We believe that applying the CondAlign technology can drive our partner’s market development and value creation by enabling new, innovative products and processes for the future.
