Friction is generated in a triboelectric power generator by mechanical energy generated in daily life, and electricity is generated by the triboelectric power generator and is then used. This technology harvests waste mechanical energy and converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy.

Value Proposition: The triboelectric power generator can harvest mechanical energy, such as the movement of a human body (a step, the movement of muscles, friction with clothes, or the like), a vehicle, wind, sound, vibration, or the like, which is usually considered to be waste energy, and can convert the mechanical energy into electrical energy. This new and renewable energy source may become an alternative that can solve an energy crunch problem that will occur in the future. Furthermore, it is expected that the new and renewable energy source will be used as an auxiliary power source for a battery and will further implement a self energy generate system that can be driven without a battery.
In the future, it is expected that self power generator can form a new energy market, such as a market for User Created Power (UCP) systems.
Furthermore, a user-centric user interface (UI) can be implemented, and also a wireless body area network (WBAN) for healthcare purposes can be established. Therefore, it is expected that this technology can play a core role as the power supply source of future technology.
