Summary:

This presentation will describe the use of natural polysaccharides such as alginates, chitosan, carrageenan and their derivatives as precursors for the formation of graphene, doped graphenes, graphene as supports of metal nanoparticles, p-n graphene heterojunctions, boron nitride, molybdenum sulfide and combination of these (sub)nanometric thick 2D materials.
