Study on the non-enzymatic catalysts applied to the glucose biosensor

This paper provides a method of synthesis Pt-Ni/MWCNTs of load on a glassy carbon electrode. This synthesis Pt-Ni/MWCNTs of the paper nanocomposites modified glassy carbon electrode applied to the non-enzymatic glucose biosensor. The structure and composition of the type of synthetic particles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the plasma emission spectroscopy (ICP) for the station. The electrocatalytic properties of Pt-Ni/MWCNTs/GC electrode were characterized by cyclic voltammetric method at the medium of phosphate buffer (0.1 mol·L-1). The results showed that Pt-Ni/MWCNTs nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) linear response to glucose concentration of 0.08-13 mmol·L-1 range, the sensitivity for 271.9μA/(mmol·L-1·cm2). The minimum detection limit of 0.06 mmol·L-1 (s/n=3) Pt-Ni/MWCNTs modified electrode can effectively avoid interfering substances such as ascorbic acid, dopamine, uric acid interference, has a good selectivity. The Pt-Ni/MWCNTs/GC electrode exhibits good direct electrochemical and electro-catalytic performances without any electron mediator.
