In typical anaerobic digestion (AD), microorganisms convert biodegradable materials into well-known biogas. Organic acids are intermediates in this bioconversion process. Such organic acids are >15X more valuable than biogas. Our technology inhibits biogas in AD to retain these valuable acids and then efficiently extracts and fractionates them for marketing.
