TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

Compound thin films, e.g. metal oxides or mixed metal oxides, can be used to produce a variety of opto-electronic thin films for use in solar cells, thermoelectrics, superconductors, and sensors. NJIT is developing next-generation, pulsed power, linear hollow cathodes to enable low cost stable production of such layers.
