TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

We found that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) given before spinal cord injury (SCI) attenuates functional recovery and cord pathology at 12 h however TiO2-nanodelivery thwarted cord pathology and improve functional recovery after 12 and 24 h SCI indicating that nanodrug delivery of MSCs has superior neuroprotective effects in SCI.
