Carbon Nanostructure-based Immunoassay

This invention is a rapid, field-use immunoassay device that utilizes nanostructures to quickly provide unambiguous, easily-visible detection of disease. The deviceâ€™s sensitivity allows pathogen sub-strain differentiation and â€œreal timeâ€ epidemiology. The elimination of dye tagging removes the need for supporting microscopes and photometers and also reduces false positive results.

Value Proposition: This immunoassay does not require lab equipment to detect disease, which allows rapid deployment in areas lacking facilities. The stability of the components reduces false positives from the degradation of markers.
