Myoelectric prosthetic hand externally powered by electrical signals produced in the muscles of the arm to generate two main movements, open/close the entire hand and open/close the index finger with the thumb. A single motor is used, which receives the electrical signals to perform the movements.

Value Proposition: Our low cost prosthetic hand uses only one electric motor powered by electromyography signals to move the entire hand, simplifying its design and lowering manufacturing costs. Its simple mechanism can perform basic but essential hand movements, i.e. grab and lift objects among others.
