TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

This technology provides a general description of the Computer-Aided Detection and Diagnosis of Breast Cancer. This research project is to apply machine learning techniques combined with computer vision to mammograms, which will be used for detecting and pre-diagnosing breast cancer at its earliest stages, when it can still be cured.

Value Proposition: Breast cancer is the fifth deadliest type of cancer and it is the most frequent type of cancer among women, globally. In Mexico, for example, breast cancer is the second cause of death for women between 30-54. This technology have a submitted patent - MX/a/2012/014895
