Global/Local Monitoring of Energy Consumption

Increasing electric energy production leads to consequences unknown right now. Satellite observations of triggered by terragenic impacts emissions present possibility for monitoring man-made impacts and forecast possible critical levels. Further methodology development may provide a tool allowing monitoring energy production and consumption on both planetary and local scales.

Value Proposition: To create a consortium which will support the creation of modern scientific payload and microsatellite, even cubesat-format, to carry our the experimental confirmation of the technology with two aims: monitoring electromagnetic pollution and detect powerful energy producers and/or consumers, including hidden ones.

GOVT/EXTERNAL FUNDING SOURCES
Government Funding/Support to Date: State Space Agency of Ukraine funded the satellite instrumentation development to be able to measure very low level electric and magnetic signals from microsatellites. The preliminary study already made which confirmed high level of parameters of scientific payload and efficiency of monitoring. Further development suspended due to lack of funds.
