TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

The small and affordable Physiologic Respiratory Monitoring System was devised to measures six components to evaluate metabolic function: oxygen and carbon dioxide partial pressure, volume flow rate, heart rate, and gas pressure and temperature. These measurements enable computation of oxygen uptake, carbon dioxide output and average expired gas flow rate.

Value Proposition: Currently, respiratory devices output a consistent flow of oxygen. Caregivers must manually check and administer different doses depending on the patients physiology. The PRMS system monitors pulmonary function, and informs the user of the instantaneous respiratory health. 2 patents pending.
