Commercial Production of Janus Particles
Princeton University, Sphera Materials LLC, New Jersey, United States
We have developed a groundbreaking process to produce commercial quantities of Janus nanoparticles, scalable up to 1000 kg/day, and can use both polymers and inorganic materials to produce Janus nanoparticles with controlled, monodisperse size and composition. This will enable new technologies in the food, oil and personal care industries.
Primary Application Area: Materials & Chemical
Technology Development Status: Proven Manufacturability
Technology Readiness Level: TRL 5
