TechConnect Innovation Program

Holographic Gun Site, CHMSL, Holographic Spectrometer, Large 2D and 3D screen, double-sided diffusers

Luminit, LLC, California, United States

TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

Luminit's holographic technologies can be divided in two categories: speckle holography resulted in Light Shaping Diffusers® (LSD) and LSD products, and holographic optical elements (HOE) technology. HOE technology is divided in regular HOE and substrate-guided wave-based HOE. These HOE can be implemented either for imaging or non-imaging purposes.

Primary Application Area: Electronics, Sensors & Communications

Technology Development Status: Prototype

Technology Readiness Level: TRL 6

FIGURES OF MERIT

Value Proposition: The value of Luminit’s LSD is in capability to shape the light and provide the illumination superior in quality and more cost-efficient than other technologies.
Luminit’s holographic technology based products are compact, control light beams very efficiently and more diverse than traditional optics based devices at lower cost.
